Credible Group Furniture Production Project
토론토 리츠칼튼 호텔은 2011년 개관 이후 약 8년 만에 대규모 리모델링을 진행했습니다. 본 프로젝트에서 전체 인테리어 및 가구 디자인은 토론토 기반의 인테리어 디자인 펌 DesignAgency가 담당했으며, 모든 가구 엔지니어링 및 프로덕션은 Credible Group이 수행했습니다.
본 프로젝트에서 전 호텔 객실 가구 전반에 대한 설계 업무를 담당했습니다. 기획된 가구 디자인을 기반으로 구조 검토 및 상세 설계를 진행하고, 제작을 위한 기술 도면을 작성했습니다. 또한 현장 조사를 통해 공간 조건과 시공 환경을 분석하고, 이를 설계에 반영하여 제작 및 설치 과정에서의 완성도와 실현 가능성을 확보했습니다.
The Ritz-Carlton Toronto underwent a major renovation approximately eight years after its opening in 2011. For this project, the overall interior and furniture design was led by Toronto-based interior design firm DesignAgency, while all furniture engineering and production were carried out by Credible Group.
I was responsible for the overall furniture engineering for the hotel's guestrooms. Based on the approved furniture designs, I conducted structural reviews and detailed engineering and produced technical drawings for fabrication. I also carried out site surveys to analyze spatial conditions and construction constraints, incorporating these findings into the engineering process to ensure feasibility and a high level of quality throughout fabrication and installation.
